The Hagerman Valley Historical Society maintains the Historical Archives & Research Center (HARC) as a resource for members, guests, scholars and educators.
HARC is where we preserve, catalog, manage and provide access to our significant and ever-expanding collection of documents, photographs, family files, maps, letters, books, local histories, organizational records, and other reference materials.  We are honored to hold several special collections donated by individuals, families and organizations.

The HARC team consists of volunteers with extensive historical, research, technical writing, artistic and educational training and experience.

  • We offer classes and workshops,
  • We collaborate with community groups, organizations, allies and partners,
  • We assist with research and conduct special projects,
  • We contribute to the newsletter and publications,
  • We produce exhibit support material.

We welcome you to the HARC

The HARC is open one or more afternoons a week and by appointment.
Those interested in HARC hours, future classes, projects or volunteering may reach us by emailhvhsmuseum@gmail.com or call the museum at 208.837.6288.
We welcome donations of historical photos and documents.
